Editorial and content review policy

Who we are

PickTheDoc.com is produced by the PickTheDoc.com team — a small editorial group focused on health navigation, not clinical care. All content on this site is written and reviewed by the PickTheDoc.com team. Read more about who we are and why we built this.

We want to be explicit about our limits: we do not currently employ or retain a named practicing physician as a medical reviewer. Our content is therefore written to be strictly navigational — explaining which kind of doctor handles which kind of problem — and never diagnostic or treatment-oriented.

What we publish

What we deliberately do not publish

How we source content

We rely on publicly available, authoritative, non-commercial sources, including:

Where a page makes a specific factual claim, we cite the source on that page.

Our review process

  1. Research: an editor gathers material from the sources listed above.
  2. Drafting: content is written at roughly an eighth-grade reading level, avoiding jargon.
  3. Safety pass: a second editor checks that no sentence reads as a diagnosis, that emergency warning signs are present where relevant, and that the disclaimer appears.
  4. Publication: the page is published with a visible “last updated” date.
  5. Review cycle: every page is re-reviewed at least once every 12 months, or sooner if a source updates its guidance or a reader reports an error.

Corrections

If you find an error, email info@AISureTech.com. We investigate every report, correct confirmed errors promptly, and update the page's “last updated” date.

Independence and funding

PickTheDoc.com accepts no advertising, sponsorships, or affiliate commissions. No doctor, hospital, insurer, or clinic pays to be mentioned or recommended on this site. Our specialty suggestions are not influenced by commercial relationships because we have none.
